00 — Overview

R11 reference application. Built from the v0.14 Work & Supply reference pack. The demo data is fictional.

What Assurance & Governance is

Assurance owns the accountable governance chain for material cross-application problems:

Evidence → Exception → Risk → Decision → Obligation → Action → Verification → Closure

It never becomes the record for work, stock, orders, warranty, suppliers or finance — it holds references to those records and the governance around them.

The 11 models

Materiality (2) - MaterialityRule — what makes a network event governance-relevant: the message type it watches, one or two conditions on the event's fields, the exception type, severity, owner role and due days. - MaterialityEvaluation — every event evaluated: which rule (if any) matched and why, and the exception it opened or updated — so "why was this not escalated?" always has an answer.

Exceptions (4) - AssuranceException — the governance exception: source record, type, severity, why it is material, owner, status (open → assessing → decision required → controlled / monitoring → ready for closure → closed), due date. - GovernanceEvidence — the events and documents behind it. - GovernanceRisk — risk assessments (a new one supersedes the last). - GovernanceStatusHistory — every status change.

Decisions & obligations (3) - GovernanceDecision — the accountable decision, by whom, under what authority, until when. - GovernanceObligation — what the decision requires, of which application / role, by when (and the work order it concerns). - GovernanceAction — what was done towards it, with the external reference.

Verification & closure (2) — GovernanceVerification (was the obligation met?) and GovernanceClosure.
